Mouse Trap News has done it again. A recent post on the parody site indicates that the Walt Disney World theme parks will open up at 5 AM, and sometimes at 4 AM for resort guests as Extra Magic Hours. The new hours were reportedly to start in 2026.
This, of course, is not true. It’s another satirical article from the parody website.
Just like strollers are not banned from Disney parks either (however many of us wish they were).
According to the article,
“Magic Kingdom will open at 5 AM in 2026
What’s cool is that for resort guests, Disney will offer extra magic hours starting as early as 4 in the morning. What this means is that guests will likely be arriving at 3 to 3:30 AM for rope drop.”
The rest of the “article” talks about how guests are conflicted because those early hours would likely have extremely low crowd levels and Cast Members would have to get up extremely early to staff the parks.
Again, this isn’t true.
But it does say something about Disney if it sounds so believable to many, much like most of their articles. Parks fans get angry at the site, but the stories are clearly marked as satire. The fact that people believe some of the ridiculous stories means that people think it’s possible.
Seeing the headlines, one can see why people believe the stories. They sound plausible!

If you want to read some funny, satirical stories, Mouse Trap News is a fun place to visit, and I do recommend it.
