It seems that we have an unintentional early sneak peek a the upcoming 50th anniversary Walt Disney World Spirit Jersey and Minnie Ear Headband. This sneak peek comes from WDWNT who got it from a reader, Lauren Reynolds, so I want to make sure I give them credit right from the beginning.
It seems Disney was doing a photo shoot with the new merchandise for upcoming sales and promotion. On a fun note, I love how Goofy is in the background unintentionally photo bombing these pictures.
The Anniversary Spirit Jersey is themed to the EARidescence that Disney keeps focusing on. It seems to be a lilac colored jersey with iridescent stripes, a 50th Anniversary logo on the front and “Walt Disney World” on the back.
There is also a matching set of EARidescent Minnie Ears that are also in the lilac color they’re using for the 50th.
I am loving both the ears and this Spirit Jersey. No word yet on when these pieces will become available but we know the 50th Anniversary celebration kicks off on October 1 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
