New Signature Restaurant Takumi-Tei to Open in Epcot Summer 2019

One of the great things about visiting Epcot’s World Showcase is getting to visit (and eat at) several countries in one day. Our favorite pavilion in the World Showcase is the Japan Pavilion!

We love to visit the store there and see all the cute character and anime items and of course they have all the amazing Japanese treats and drinks! Our kids just love their gallery that currently is celebrating all things Kawaii.

Soon guests can also enjoy a new Signature dining experience with the new Takumi-Tei.

The name means “house of the artisan”, and Disney drew inspiration from the beauty of Japan and the aesthetic of Japanese craftsmanship for the design of this new restaurant.

The upscale dinner menu will highlight wagyu beef in a sublime setting, and guests interested in the ultimate experience will be able to indulge in a multi-course tasting menu featuring traditional tea service. Signature cocktails and premium sake will be available along with a wine and craft beer menu.–Disney Parks Blog

This amazing new restaurant will open in Epcot this summer. Mitsukoshi USA will run the restaurant along with the other restaurants, merchandise shop and kiosks in the Japan Pavilion.

I’m looking forward to this one. It looks like it will be absolutely beautiful, just like everything else in the Japan pavilion.
