Disney’s Animal Kingdom sells a collection of park-exclusive items celebrating the theme park. A new Loungefly backpack has appeared for this collection.

A new Loungefly backpack makes another addition to this Disney’s Animal Kingdom-themed collection. New merchandise items have been rolling out over the last few weeks. The collection includes items such as a throw blanket, pillow, ear headband, and a trading pin. During a recent trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we found this new backpack at Mombasa Marketplace, Discovery Trading Company, and Island Mercantile. The photos in this article are from the Mombasa Marketplace location in the African area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Loungefly Backpack – $78

This white backpack has a shadowed leaf-style print and faux leather accents. The top flap of the backpack includes a pattern along the edge. A Mickey patch containing the new Disney’s Animal Kingdom art of this collection also appears. On the front pocket are two straps with Mickey buttons. A brown Disney Loungefly enamel badge can also be seen.
Like most Loungefly bags, the straps are easily adjustable. These straps are brown to blend with the rest of the design.

The underside of the top flap has a pattern consisting of the park’s logo. This pattern is green in color over a darker green background. The pattern continues on the inside of the bag. A brown drawstring keeps the top opening closed under the flap. The underside of the front pocket also includes Disney’s Animal Kingdom park logo design.

The design pattern, not the colors, of this Loungefly reminded some of us of the 25th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Loungefly. Of course, the 25th anniversary Loungefly costs ten dollars more with a few more accessories than this one.
