New Daredevil Born Again Team Says They are Still At “Day 0,” It’s Likely Going To Be Awhile Till New Show

If you were hoping for “Daredevil Born Again” to be streaming on Disney+ anytime soon, you are in for disappointment. Last month, it was announced that the show wasn’t coming together and Marvel would go in a different direction by bringing on new showrunner Dario Scardapane, and new directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

Now, according to an article in “The Wrap,” they are starting again, just recently got an office, and are at “Day 0.”

When speaking to the news outlet about the status of “Daredevil Born Again,” the two men joked about starting over and consuming all the Daredevil content they could to prepare for making the show.

By calling it “Day 0” it seems to imply that they are starting from scratch.

When asked about the status of the show, Justin Benson told The Wrap:

We have the best answer for you. So you see this space we’re in right now? This is our office, and we just found out we have an office about 45 minutes ago. And that’s what we’re at with Daredevil.

Aaron Moorhead discussed that they are reviewing what has already been filmed to see what can be used and what needs to be done.

It is day zero. We’re currently just consuming Daredevil content, not just the Netflix show but all the possible material. We’re just making our stew of information nice and thick.

So it seems that it will be a while until we get the new “Daredevil” show. Until then, Charlie Cox will appear as “Daredevil” in “Echo” coming to Disney+ on Jan. 10, 2024.
