In case you’ve missed it, the biggest craze to hit Star Wars is the baby Yoda “The child” character from The Mandalorian on Disney+. Everyone has been asking for the merchandise and it is going to start trickling out soon!
From my understanding clothing and accessory items will come first, hitting stores like Amazon, Kohls, Zazzle, Target, Hot Topic, Macy’s, Box Lunch, Shop Disney, the Disney Store and of course in the parks any time now. Other merchandise will be coming in the following weeks, hopefully before the holidays.
Several people are also reporting that plush pre-orders will be coming soon too. That news makes me smile because it reminds me of Kenner’s “Early Bird” certificates they gave out for before Christmas for the original Star Wars toys, and it makes this long time fan nostalgic.
If you are a fan of The Mandalorian, there are a bunch of other great shirt options available already, but I think a lot of people are waiting for “The Child” because he or she is so cute! Currently there is a plethora of fan-made items popping up from t-shirts to plushies, but the official items are coming. Keep your eyes peeled.
