Walt Disney Imagineering has released a new image to Instagram. They unveiled the mural of Alberta Falls at Walt Disney World’s ‘Jungle Cruise’ attraction. According to their post, the mural signifies the completion of the redo at the attraction.
The attraction was of course changed to remove that Disney deemed was culturally insensitive or stereotypical depictions of natives, including Trader Sam. The story was also changed to bring in Alberta Falls, which likely is to tie it to Disney S.E.A (Society of Explorers and Adventurers) that they want to make into a cinematic universe for Disney+.

“We’re excited to share a first look at this recently installed mural of Alberta Falls and her family of Skippers at the Jungle Cruise inside Magic Kingdom Park. Disney Imagineers created new characters, new scenes and an expanded storyline as part of the attraction enhancements, establishing Alberta, granddaughter of the world-renowned Dr. Albert Falls, as the proprietor of the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd. The addition of this mural marks the completion of the Jungle Cruise enhancements @WaltDisneyWorld!”
It seems that the ride enhancements are now finished.
