Fans of Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa will need to find another fine dining establishment to dine at come June 18th. On June 18th, Narcoossee’s will close for an extended refurbishment. No reopening date has been made available. Reservations will be available until June 17th, 2022.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is slated to have some upgrades made to it in the near future. The lobby of the resort will be getting a facelift to modernize the aesthetic appeal. In the Villas section of the resort, new Disney Vacation Club villas are being added to the resort. Last year, Citricos underwent a renovation. The restaurant received a Mary Poppins theme throughout the restaurant. Many changes are afoot at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

The information page on Disney’s website states the following:
“Beginning June 18, 2022, Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be unavailable due to refurbishment. However, reservations at Narcoossee’s will be available through June 17, 2022. We expect to return later this year with an enhanced table-service experience.
Starting March 1, 2022, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will undergo refurbishment. Guests may see or hear construction during daytime hours. Most Resort hotel amenities will remain available. Please allow for additional travel time.”
Because Narcoossee’s will be closed for an indeterminate amount of time for this refurbishment, Citricos will be opening to guest reservations seven days a week starting June 26th. The menu for Citricos is said to be Florida cuisine with a Mediterranean flair.
Again, no reopening date for Narcoossee’s has been made available. Once a reopening date is announced, we will report it along with the changes that have been made to this dining experience.
