Not only is actor Michael Keaton returning as his iconic role as Bruce Wayne/Batman the the upcoming Flash film at Warner Bros, but also as the Marvel villain Adrien Toomes/The Vulture at Marvel/SONY.
In a recent appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show when talking about his time playing Vulture in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, Keaton stated that he would be playing the role again. Saying:
“I’m shooting tomorrow. Some Vulture stuff“.
Keaton is confirmed to be playing Adrien Toomes in the upcoming Morbius film starring Jered Leto, but it was unknown if he would be strapping on his wings again, until now that is.
The Vulture was part of the Sinister Six in the comics, and some believed that he would appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film. But that is somewhat unlikely due to the film releasing in a few weeks and filming last minute would make little sense. It is now believed that he will be apart of the solo Sinister Six film that was announced by SONY as part of their Spider-Man Shared Universe post-Disney partnership.
Morbius is set to release in November 2022.
Are you looking forward to seeing Keaton return to his roles in both the DC and Marvel Universes?
