Disney screened the first 35 minutes of “Deadpool and Wolverine” to the press at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo. Reactions from those in attendance are mostly positive with many saying that it definitely goes full Deadpool.
The press tour has offered the first 35-40 minutes (depending on who you ask) at different locations, including Shanghai.
Fans were worried that since Disney was taking over the film franchise, it would be toned down significantly. Concerns over more “Once Upon a Deadpool” instead of a good “Deadpool 3” have seemingly been alleviated.
Some even say this film will “breathe new life into the MCU.” Heaven knows the MCU needs it.
I’m never one to say “you’re not ready,” but you really aren’t ready. The excitement levels for #DeadpoolAndWolverine have just gone through the roof. The first 30 minutes prove that Wade and the Wolverine are cutting loose in the best way possible. Gimme the whole film. pic.twitter.com/8HoyfKLOW3

I have seen (35 minutes of) Deadpool & Wolverine. It’s a promising start with an excellent opening gag, and if you’re still worried Deadpool has been tamed, the bloody and outrageous first set piece will resolve any worries. pic.twitter.com/YajVZwZg6Q

“As I said earlier, Deadpool & Wolverine knows that some fans are not happy with the MCU right now. It wants to have a dialogue with them. It wants to demonstrate that things are back on track with a movie that not only provides genuinely good fan service, but also proves that… https://t.co/ByxA0wogsB

I WATCHED THE FIRST 35 MINUTES OF DEADPOOL AND WOLVERINE! (No spoilers)
No joke, I’m struggling to find any negatives. Despite the Fox merger, this feels like a straight up continuation from Deadpool 2 story and tone wise. Nothing has been toned back, all the comedy hit, and the… pic.twitter.com/hdP58yh7sR
