Marvel Releases New ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ Trailer

Marvel / Disney just released a new trailer for the upcoming ‘ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ trailer.  It’s only about a minute long.

I’m going to be honest, I’m not sure how this film is going to perform in the box office. Now we’re entering into characters most people aren’t familiar with and Avengers aren’t anchoring them.  I would say the same for the ‘Eternals’ but I think ‘Shang-Chi’ actually has a better chance to bring in audiences.

However, as we reported before, Chinese audiences don’t seem to care for the film and it’s casting choices. It may be headed for another ‘Mulan’ situation.

We’ve been watching both ‘Shang-Chi’ and ‘The Eternals’ closely to see how general audiences react and I don’t think the demand is there. The toys for ‘Shang-Chi’ are already starting to go on clearance at stores near us, but that could also be because they came out on schedule while the film was pushed back.

Hopefully it’s a great film and everyone likes it.

You can watch ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ on September 3 and as of now it will only be going to theaters. Hopefully theaters aren’t shut down again by then.
