Marvel has just dropped a trailer for the upcoming “Captain America: Brave New World” film, which will be released on Valentine’s Day 2025. This film takes a more spy-thriller, espionage angle, which works for Sam Wilson’s (Anthony Mackie) Captain America, as he was never given the super serum.
The trailer finally gives us a look at the film that has been renamed, delayed, and has faced many reshoots. It was rumored that the original did not test well with audiences.
Take a look!
Of course, everyone is excited because we get to see Red Hulk, which was leaked months ago with the early release of the McDonald’s Happy Meal toys tie-in.

I do like that they make a point of having Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (Harrison Ford) say that Sam is “…no Steve Rogers.” Because that is the elephant in the room with this character shift, Wilson acknowledges that he is and then sees him embrace the character as his own by combining his previous Falcon persona with his new Captain America one, like in the comics.

Giancarlo Esposito, who was added to the film during reshoots, also appears in the trailer.

“Captain America: Brave New World” was written by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton. Julius Ohah directs the film.
The film stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America, Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres / Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Shira Haas as Sabra, Xosha Roquemore (unknown character,) Rosa Salazar (unknown character) and Giancarlo Esposito (unknown character.)
The film will be released on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2024.
