Disney has has many ups and downs with their new ‘Star Wars’ hotel experience at Walt Disney World. When the media embargo lifted they were met with mixed reactions from potential audiences. Then their reservations became very open again.
Not long after that they were apparently booked up again and now there is a bit of availability in the next couple of months if you are someone wanting to go.
Right now there is room on one experience for next weekend and openings for two “departures” in May as well:
Disney has been very touchy about the reception to their new hotel. The biggest complaint has been the price. But some of the media that gave mostly good reviews questioned the cost.
Even me making a joke about the high price led to a Galactic Starcruiser cast member getting mad at me and followers on our Instagram page. To say that the reception wasn’t all that Disney hoped is likely an understatement.
But if you would like to experience the Galactic Starcruiser, there are a lot of openings. June has four “departure” dates open and July on have wide availability.
Keep watching the availability calendar if the date you want is not available. They tend to add availability a lot.
