Malloney Stack Burger Universal Orlando Resort Is Definitely for Meat Lovers

There has been lots of talk about major theme parks treating their annual passholders in negative ways. This is talked about in terms of large price increases and/or taking away benefits. However, Universal Orlando continues to function as a company needing their annual passholders. This year’s passholder appreciation days featured special discounts, exclusive food options, and more

An exclusive food option receiving excellent reviews is the Malloney Stack at Finnegan’s Bar and Grill in Universal Studios Florida.

Finnegan’s is one of the higher rated full-service restaurants within the park at Universal Orlando. This burger will cost you $17.49, which is not a bad price especially at a theme park. This burger is described as being made up of a premium grilled house ground beef patty, braised short rib, beer battered onion rings, and ale cheese sauce.

This entrée will not please your personal trainer and should not be flaunted in front of your vegetarians friends. Yet, if you are feeling like a carnivore then this burger is for you. Guest reviews have been positive though it is described as a bit over the top in terms of toppings and overall size. In case you were wondering, it is served with wedge fries.

The burger is quite sizable especially with short ribs and onion rings making it stand tall, if you can keep it from tipping over. This burger is cooked to order. The short rib, in particular, gives it a special flavor. This burger comes with lettuce, tomato, and a pickle if you need to tell you mom you had some vegetables. Surprisingly, the onion rings, cheese, and short ribs work well together in this “flavortown.”

Overall, the burger is a good value for a full-service burger. The wedge fries are good but not great. You can choose to upgrade their taste with some malt vinegar or use them to dip in the cheese that drips off this burger. As you can imagine, this burger can get messy so prepare. Do not worry, your server will bring you plenty of napkins.
