It was a busy morning at Walt Disney World, according to a video posted by @Coach Bragg on TikTok earlier today showing a Magic Kingdom Cast Member spraying a fire extinguisher over the boats.
The ride was reportedly okay after a portable charger caught on fire.

Another TikToker named lil also posted a shot of the incident.

Coach Bragg posted that the Cast Members handled the incident quickly,
“Disney Cast Members were fast acting to extinguish the small fire!”
What caused the “fire”
It seems that a portable charger that caused the fire.
“This was a guest’s portable charger exploding – not Disney or the ride. You can blame them for a lot but not this one…” -violet93_19
Another person confirmed that this was the case as her family member owned the charger,
“This happened to my sister and her family! My nephew set his bag down between his legs on the boat and his brand new magnetic portable phone charger exploded in the bag and burst into flames and they had to evacuate everyone!!” – Hanna
A Small World Cast Member chimed in and said this was correct, but the ride was okay, and no one was injured.
“This is correct. SW CM here! Everyone is okay, including the ride itself.”- S.
