Luke Skywalker Leaps Into Combat in This Iron Studio Statue

Luke Skywalker made up for three movies worth of misuse in just a few minutes during the second season finale of The Mandalorian. First, the iconic Star Wars Jedi laid down the law on an army of Dark Troopers as he made his way to save The Grogu Gang. Now Luke’s battle aboard the Imperial cruiser is captured via the artists at Iron Studios.

Lightsaber in one hand, Force pushing the battle droids with another, Luke is the symbol of all the heroic things a Jedi should be. Finally, we can own a piece of that action with this $179.99 statue. It is currently on pre-order over at the Big Bad Toy Store. Luke will be shipping out sometime during the fourth quarter of 2022.

Aboard Imperial Officer Moff Gideon’s light cruiser spacecraft, the enigmatic figure of a Jedi Master, wearing a black hooded cloak, uses all his skill and connection to the power of Force with his left hand. In his right hand, with a glove, he masterfully wields a green lightsaber. At his feet lies the metallic remains of a deadly Dark Trooper droid, part of a security squad that tries in vain to stop the relentless warrior.

Like many other Star Wars statues from Iron Studios, this one is 1/10th scale and made of polystone. The statue stands at 9.4″ tall.

What are your thoughts on Luke’s brief appearance in The Mandalorian? Cheap fanservice or a peace offering to apologize for the ruinization of The Last Jedi? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
