Lowe’s revealed its 2026 holiday lineup, with Black Friday deals starting Oct. 29, new Rudolph decor, a 5-foot Elf on the Shelf and 12 Days of Deals beginning Nov. 16.
Lowe’s isn’t waiting for Thanksgiving to start its holiday sales.
The home improvement chain will kick off its Black Friday deals on Thursday, Oct. 29, four weeks before Black Friday itself, Lowe’s announced Oct. 8. Its holiday decor and gifts are already in stores and on Lowes.com.
That’s one day earlier than last year, when Lowe’s started its early Black Friday savings on Oct. 30, 2025.
When does Lowe’s Black Friday 2026 start?
Oct. 29. From there, the deals come in waves through Christmas Eve:
-
Oct. 29: Four weeks of Black Friday deals on tools, holiday decor, appliances, and outdoor power equipment
-
Nov. 16: 12 Days of Deals, with new savings each day leading up to Black Friday
-
Thanksgiving week: Lowe’s biggest savings of the season
-
Nov. 27: Black Friday Doorbusters open to everyone
-
Dec. 3 to Dec. 24: December Deal Drops on gifts and holiday basics
The 12 Days of Deals is new this year. It used to be 10 Days of Deals, so Lowe’s added two more.
Lowe’s stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, and on Christmas Day. You can still shop online-only deals on Thanksgiving.
What new holiday decor is at Lowe’s this year?
A lot of familiar faces. The Rudolph and Friends collection is growing with new Sam the Snowman and Clarice decor, sold online only.
They join returning favorites Bumble, Hermey the Elf, and Yukon Cornelius. All of them come from the 1964 stop-motion TV special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Lowe’s Holiday Living brand also brings back its New Kensington and Real Feel artificial trees, wreaths, and garlands. New this year are vintage-inspired trees and lights, plus glitter sparkle lights.
Is Lowe’s selling a giant Elf on the Shelf?
Yes, and it’s big. Lowe’s has a 5-foot poseable Elf on the Shelf this year, made for the front yard instead of the bookcase.
It’s kind of freaky, not going to lie.
The classic 10-inch Scout Elf is back too, along with a Lowe’s toolbelt outfit and some new friends and outfits.
So if your elf usually moves from the kitchen to the bookshelf overnight, this one might need to stay put.
Lowe’s didn’t list prices for the holiday decor in its announcement.
What do MyLowe’s Rewards members get for the holidays?
Mostly early access. MyLowe’s Rewards and MyLowe’s Pro Rewards members can shop Black Friday Doorbusters online one day before everyone else.
Members also get free same-day delivery on eligible items. That requires a $25 minimum, and you have to order by 2 p.m.
In November, members get early access to new Traeger grills on Lowes.com, plus 3X points on eligible Traeger purchases if they activate the offer.
What are the Lowe’s Kids Workshops this holiday season?
There are two free build projects for kids. Members can sign kids up to build a Holiday Engine on Nov. 14 and a Holiday Trolley Car on Dec. 12.
What gifts is Lowe’s pushing this year?
More than just tools. Lowe’s is selling HomeCare+ gift cards for $99 a year. That covers two visits a year from Lowe’s workers, with up to seven home maintenance jobs like changing air filters and cleaning dryer vents.
It’s only available in some zip codes.
There are also Kobalt mini toolboxes, new DEWALT nailers, CRAFTSMAN gear, and pet toys and beds from Lowe’s Heart & Herd brand.
“The holidays should be about enjoying your home, not stressing,” said Jen Wilson, Lowe’s chief marketing officer.
How can you give back at Lowe’s this holiday season?
At the register. From Nov. 25 through Dec. 21, shoppers can donate $1, $3 or $5 at checkout in honor of a veteran, then hang a tag on the store’s holiday tree.
All the money goes to Building Homes for Heroes.
That’s a lot of holiday for October, and the 5-foot elf is already watching.
