Lords Mobile Goes Far, Far Away In New Shrek Collaboration

The popular mobile strategy game Lords Mobile has announced a major collaboration with the world of DreamWorks, specifically with the world of the popular Shrek franchise. The new collaboration event sees many familiar faces join the never ending battle at the end of your fingertips.

The official announcement statement reads:

“Far Far Away is not so far after all. The Lords Mobile x DreamWorks Shrek collaboration is about to begin. Join Shrek, Donkey, and Puss in Boots as they bring about their own twists to the Kingdoms of Athena. Be wow-ed by exclusive collab items like a Shrek-themed Castle Skin, emotes, Avatars, and many more.”

The limited time event will see multiple characters from the world of the Shrek franchise make appearances in both major and minor ways. The collaboration will undoubtably include some special in-game buffs and/or items to aid in battle.

In the main trailer, we saw Shrek, Fiona (Ogre form), Donkey, and Puss in Boots. However, additional promotional art shows multiple other characters, such as the young King Arthur, the villainous Prince Charming, and the awkward & confused Pinocchio. It isn’t known how these other characters will fit in or if we can expect more.

This is not the first time that Lords Mobile has collaborated with another property. Other collaborations include Saint Seiya and Armored Combat. In fact, this isn’t their first collaboration with DreamWorks.

In early 2022, Lords Mobile clashed with the world of Kung Fu Panda, featuring many kung fu warriors like Po, Tigress, Shifu, and Oogway.

And earlier this year they featured a crossover event with the How To Train Your Dragon series with Hiccup, Toothless, Astrd and more.
