Yesterday Living with the Land finally reopened to guests after being closed 13 days!
Upon reopening nothing has seemingly changed so it was likely true that the issue was something structural or mechanical in nature. I had heard different stories like the roof leaking, which was on video. I also had heard there was something wrong with the ride system or fire systems and they were waiting for a part to arrive.
All reasons are very plausible. I know that there are currently shortages going on across the board impacting a lot of different areas. I’ve heard several stories of people having to wait quite a while to get their cars fixed. I had trouble getting paint at a store because their supplier was having shortage issues.
Disney probably had to wait for parts to fix whatever the issue was.
Thankfully no seat restraints or plexiglass was added, as some were worried about. The cucumber issue was not the cause, although it was pretty fun to joke about.
