Latest Details for Planning Your Trip to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

As you might know, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party returns this year after being absent for two years. Though in 2021, guests got to experience the “Boo Bash”, many guests clamored for the Halloween party format instead. This year, guests got their wish. Still, some concerns grew that perhaps this event would be scaled back. Would it offer as many showtimes as before? Would we get one parade or two? Recently, we got more direct answers to those questions.

If you need some reminders of how Mickey’s Not So scary Halloween Party works, you can click here. Though I wrote some suggested plans for touring Magic Kingdom on Halloween party nights, at that time, I could not confirm exact showtimes. If you want to enjoy the shows that only happen during the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, then you will want the exact times of shows. As always, show times are subject to change. This especially reigns true in terms of weather. Yet, Disney posted these on their website for everyone to see.

As expected, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fills the skies above Cinderella Castle starting at 10:15 PM each night. This will be the only fireworks at Magic Kingdom on party evenings. This fireworks display will draw a crowd so plan accordingly. If you desire a more relaxing fireworks viewing experience, Walt Disney World offers some upcharge dessert events to aid with that.

Also, Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade happens twice during every party evening unless weather eliminates that possibility. This parade begins in Frontierland at 9:15 PM and then starts again at 11:15 PM. Each time the parade ends in Main Street, U.S.A. area. These parades start times fit standard pattern in reference to the expected time schedule

The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular showtimes were less predictable. In fact, they change in October for example. In August and September 2022, this show happens three times. These times are 8:35pm, 10:45pm, and Midnight at party closing time. If these shows are important to you, you will need to schedule seeing them around other party activities. However, in October, guests get four showtimes for this show. Those times are 7:40 PM, 8:35 PM, 10:45 PM, and Midnight.

As discussed in a previous article, guests will need a plan of attack in terms of when to see the parade and the villain show. Several suggestions were listed there. How you decide to solve this issue determines what other things you can do during the party.

In addition, The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet performs in Frontierland at 7:00 PM, 7:45 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:50 PM and 10:30 PM each party evening. These shows will not draw as big a crowd as the previous entertainment mentioned. However, the “Dapper Dans” only do this set of musical options during the Halloween party.

Now that we have set times, planning your evening should be easier. You still have to leave time for attractions, candy, special treats, and character interactions. This event offers many ways to enjoy your evening. At least now you can plan. In fact, I can plan also.
