Ladypool and Dogpool get the Hot Toys Treatment!

Deadpool & Wolverine are kings at the box office! The film pulled no punches, calling out all of Fox and Disney’s mistakes with the franchises, and audiences loved it. Although Disney probably won’t learn its lesson, we can enjoy a resurgence in Deadpool collectibles for a little while, including a smokin’ Ladypool figure!

Hot Toys announced that the cameo character would be the next in a surprisingly extensive lineup of figures from the R-rated Marvel movie.

Ladypool (or Lady Deadpool, if you prefer) comes with the following accessories:

– One (1) newly developed masked head with four (4) pairs of interchangeable eye pieces that can create numerous combinations of Ladypool’s expressions
– Greatly detailed blond curly ponytail hair style (wool material)
– Approximately 30 cm tall
– Newly developed body with over 30 points of articulation
– Twelve (12) pieces of interchangeable gloved hands including:
– One (1) pair for pistol holding hands
– One (1) pair of katana holding hands
– Two (2) pairs of open hands
– One (1) pair of finger pointing hands
– One (1) pair of thumb-up hands

Costume:
– One (1) specially tailored red and black-colored Ladypool suit
– One (1) brown-colored utility belt with pouches and silver colored buckle
– One (1) pair of thigh gun holsters
– One (1) pair of bright red and black-colored heeled boots

Weapons:
– Two (2) katanas
– Two (2) pistols

Accessories:
– One (1) katana sheath
– Themed figure stand with character name

Surprisingly, unlike many other Hot Toys figures announced recently, you won’t have to wait a year or two to get this one. Ladypool should be out by the end of the year. Sideshow is taking pre-orders now, and she’s reasonably priced at only $280.

While Ladypool is not unique, she comes with one accessory that makes purchasing her worth it: Dogpool.

OK, I know it’s a bit of a reach to pay $200-$300 on a figure to get a tiny Dogpool with minimal articulation, but look at her! Loot at the booties!

I thought they would hold off on including Dogpool until a Nicepool figure was introduced, but whatever! Gimme gimme gimme!

The Deadpool & Wolverine Hot Toys figures are proving to be some of the best Marvel-licensed figures to come out of the Hong Kong-based company in years! It’s nice to see something other than yet another Iron Man reissue, get it?

Hopefully, (SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE), we’ll get this film’s versions of Blade, Gambit, and maybe some of the alternate Logans. I’m hoping for Weapon X and the Henry Cavill ones!
