Kristen Bell is well known for playing Anna in Disney’s Frozen franchise but now she and her husband Dax Shepard are being known for helping who they could during the Coronavirus shut-down.
Bell and Shepard own several residential buildings in Los Angeles and realizing that many will struggle with their jobs being shuttered, they have offered to waive their rent payments for April.
Bell’s rep Marcel Pariseau confirmed to USA TODAY.
I just thought it was an amazing gesture under the circumstances. Very princess-like indeed.
Plus, the couple is showing their children how to be kind and do what they can as well. According to USA Today:
“Last week, the “Frozen 2” actress posted to Instagram that her family donated $150,007.96 to No Kid Hungry, an organization that “has always been there for kids who need them. They work tirelessly to provide food for the hungry bellys (sic) all over this country.”
Bell said the specific amount is due to daughters Delta, 5, and Lincoln, 6, who overheard her making the donation and “asked if they could also donate the money from their piggy bank. I couldn’t have been prouder to add that extra, and important 7 dollars and 96 cents.“
As a mom I would be proud too.
