We will finally see official “KPop Demon Hunters” toys arrive in Spring 2026 after Netflix has struck a deal with Mattel and Hasbro.
Netflix has announced that both companies have “co-master” toy licenses for the “KPop Demon Hunters” franchise. This is an historic deal as Variety says the “co-master” license is “unprecedented in the industry— and reflects the strong demand Netflix expects for “KPop Demon Hunters” merch.”
I think it might also reflect the current status of the toy industry where companies will work together for the most in-demand properties.
How Hasbro and Mattel have split the license.
Mattel
Mattel will develop products across the categories of dolls, action figures, accesories, playsets, collectibles, and collaborations with co-brand globally.
Mattel Creations will have the first doll set that will go on presale on November 12, 2025 with shipping happening in 2026.
This is not surprising to me. I’m a member of various groups on Mattel Creations. Recently they did a survey asking members what collaborations they would like to see for doll lines and the most requested response (including my own) was for K-Pop Demon Hunters / Huntr/x dolls!

Hasbro
Hasbro’s deal will include products like special-feature plushies, youth electronics, and role play for their Hasbro Games, Wizards of the Coast, Nerf, and Furby.
Their first product will be a Monopoly Deal: KPop Demon Hunters game. Preorders are now available on Amazon, Target, and Walmart starting today, October 21, 2025. These games will start to ship on January 1, 2026.
The situation reminds me of when “The Mandalorian” dropped and everyone wanted Baby Yoda (Grogu) merchandise. Currently, independents and fans are cashing in on bootleg merchandise until official options release.
“KPop Demon Hunters” has become a global phenomenon and is the most watched Netflix film of all time. The songs have been sitting at the top of the Billboard charts for weeks, and “KPop Demon Hunters” costumes were six of the top 15 trending costumes for 2025!
