KPop Demon Hunters Huntr/X Surprise Audience on SNL

Last night, the audience for the “Saturday Night Live” 51st season premiere was given a special surprise.  The singing voices of Huntr/X from “KPop Demon Hunters” showed up during a skit.

Rumi, Zoey, and Mira (EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna) appeared during a skit about brunch with Bad Bunny.  At first, it seemed like they had been pre-recorded, but later they appeared on stage singing “Golden”.

Honestly, the skit is not that great, but it’s clearly just a vehicle to get the Huntr/x singers in the episode, and I’m here for it.

“KPop Demon Hunters” is for everyone. Kids and “smart adults”.

Huntr/X will be appearing again on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, October 7, to give a full performance of “Golden.”

KPop Demon Hunters has become the most-watched show ever on Netflix.

Here is the synopsis,

“When K-pop superstars Rumi, Mira and Zoey aren’t selling out stadiums or topping the Billboard charts, they’re moonlighting as demon hunters to protect their fans from ever-present supernatural danger.”

Songs from the show have hit high on the global charts, with “Golden” hitting number one for multiple weeks.

I heard “Soda Pop” at Walmart the other day!

The songs are everywhere, including SNL.
