By now I’m sure most of you have heard about the new Jurassic Park inspired coaster coming to Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure. The new “Velocicoaster” will be opening sometime in 2021. Well we don’t have the official look yet, but this fan made video was cool enough that I wanted to share it.
Amusement Insider on YouTube has posted a POV Animated video of what they think the attraction will be like.
“After a year of watching Jurrasic Park expansion construction and trying to nail down the details as best I could, the Velocicoaster Jurassic Coaster from Universal Studios Islands of Adventure Amusement Park POV is here. Using all available details, google maps for scale accuracy, hundreds of aerials, drone footage, leaks, rumors, and construction updates from the ground, we’ve created what we hope to see come to life out of this incredible ride which looks like it could be the best roller coaster in the World! “Velocicoaster,” or “Raptor” are the rumored names for the new ride, but haven’t been confirmed. #Velocicoaster #POV #UniversalStudios #JurassicPark #RollerCoaster #Universal #Orlando #Florida”
Of course we don’t know exactly what it will be, but it’s fun to see what people have come up with! Check out their version:
It will be fun to compare this to the final version and see what they got right and what was very different. I also want to take a moment to appreciate the amount of research and work that they put into this video!

What do you think? Comment and let us know!
