Disney World’s Jingle Cruise runs Nov. 3 through Jan. 4 at Magic Kingdom, and two ABC taping days on Nov. 10 and 11 swap out a parade and trim shows. Here’s the holiday schedule.
Disney World’s Jingle Cruise has its full run set. The holiday version of the Jungle Cruise starts Tuesday, Nov. 3, and runs through Monday, Jan. 4, 2027, at Magic Kingdom, WDWNT reported, citing Disney World’s operating calendar.
The regular Jungle Cruise comes back Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2027. That gives you about nine weeks of skippers with tinsel and holiday puns.
You may have seen a headline saying Disney World is closing the Jungle Cruise on Nov. 2. That’s technically the last day of the regular jungle version before the holiday swap. The ride itself isn’t going anywhere; it just puts on a Santa hat.
What is the Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom?
It’s a holiday overlay on the Jungle Cruise in Adventureland. The story is that the skippers decorated the boats and the jungle themselves with whatever they could find, like vines, makeshift ornaments and misplaced gifts, as WDWNT describes it.
The boats get festive names, and the skippers swap their usual jokes for holiday ones. Jingle Cruise has been a Magic Kingdom tradition since 2013.
It runs during regular park hours and during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights.
How long does the Jingle Cruise run this year?
From Nov. 3, 2026, through Jan. 4, 2027. Last season ended a little earlier, on Jan. 1, 2026, with the Jungle Cruise back Jan. 2, WDWNT reported.
This year’s version wraps two days before the broader holiday season at Magic Kingdom ends on Jan. 6, 2027.
One note: a BlogMickey sidebar listed the Jungle Cruise’s return as Monday, Jan. 4, 2027, which doesn’t match WDWNT’s Jan. 5. We’re going with WDWNT’s read of the calendar, but check the app if your trip lands on those days.
What’s changing at Magic Kingdom for the ABC holiday taping?
ABC is taping its holiday specials at Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and Wednesday, Nov. 11, and the daytime lineup shifts on those days, BlogMickey reported.
The 2 p.m. Festival of Fantasy Parade is canceled both days. In its place, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, which usually runs only during the paid Christmas parties, steps into the 2 p.m. slot. That means regular day guests can see the holiday parade with normal admission.
Which Magic Kingdom shows are cut on Nov. 10 and 11?
A few smaller ones, per BlogMickey:
-
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire: two shows on Nov. 10 (9:15 a.m. and noon) and four on Nov. 11 (10:10 a.m., 11:35 a.m., 12:45 p.m. and 4 p.m.).
-
Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade: off on Nov. 10, one run at 11:05 a.m. on Nov. 11.
-
Dapper Dans: off on Nov. 10, six sets on Nov. 11.
-
Casey’s Corner pianist: three sets on Nov. 10, six on Nov. 11.
The nighttime lineup stays put, according to BlogMickey’s list. Happily Ever After is still at 8 p.m., Disney Starlight runs at 6:45 and 9 p.m., and Frozen Holiday Surprise is set for 6:15 p.m. on those days.
Will Magic Kingdom close for the ABC taping?
BlogMickey hasn’t reported any park closures for 2026. In 2024, Disney blocked off parts of Main Street during the taping and sent some guests around backstage, so leave a little extra time if you need to cross Main Street those days.
When do the Disney holiday specials air on ABC?
The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular airs Monday, Nov. 30, and the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade airs Friday, Dec. 25, at 10 a.m. Eastern on ABC, according to BlogMickey.
PNP covered both specials in late October, but now you know which days at the park they’re being filmed.
What is Frozen Holiday Surprise?
It’s Magic Kingdom’s nightly holiday castle show. Olaf and a crowd of snowgies decorate Cinderella Castle, Elsa, Anna and Kristoff join in, and Elsa turns the castle into a sparkling ice palace, WDWNT reported in June.
WDWMagic reported Sunday that 2026 showtimes are out, so check the app for the nights you’re there.
Between the Jingle Cruise, the daytime Christmas parade and Elsa’s castle show, Nov. 10 and 11 might be two of the most festive day-guest days of the season. Bring a jacket. Or at least, y’know, sleeves.
