Jeep’s Avengers: Doomsday ad shows Doctor Doom’s Latveria

Jeep’s new Avengers: Doomsday spot puts The Thing behind the wheel of a Wrangler, then parks seven Jeeps in front of a dark tower in Latveria, the country Doctor Doom rules.

Jeep and Marvel launched the final chapter of their yearlong Avengers: Doomsday team-up on Friday, Nov. 6, and it ends in Doctor Doom’s backyard. The new campaign, “A Jeep 4×4 for Any Universe,” includes “a glimpse at Latveria, the nation ruled by Doctor Doom,” Jeep said.

The spot hops from Avengers Tower in New York to the X-Mansion and the Fantastic Four’s universe before it lands in Latveria, according to Jeep’s announcement. Captain America, the Human Torch, H.E.R.B.I.E., Nightcrawler and The Thing all come along for the ride.

The Thing gets the big moment. He drives a red Jeep Wrangler through the dirt, which Jeep called a pairing of “one of Marvel’s most formidable heroes” and its most famous 4×4.

The end card is where fans started hitting pause. Seven Jeeps sit in a field in front of glowing orange portals. Behind them are mountains, pine trees and a tall, dark, rectangular tower with a red mark near the top.

The Direct and SuperHeroHype identified the tower as Doom’s stronghold. The Direct said it matches earlier official art and merchandise. GamesRadar+ called the spot the first look at Latveria in the MCU.

Jeep also posted a 17-second vertical cut on Instagram. That version opens on Avengers Tower and shows H.E.R.B.I.E. driving a Jeep through New York with Johnny Storm flying alongside, The Direct reported.

It joins a long list of Doomsday tie-ins we’ve covered, from Dunkin’, KFC and Burger King to Dave & Buster’s, AMC and Fandango.

Here’s the full spot from Jeep:

Who made the Jeep Avengers: Doomsday commercial?

Jeep and Marvel made it together, with Chicago ad agency Highdive. It’s a co-branded spot, and two Disney partnership executives are quoted in Jeep’s announcement.

“Jeep people have always looked at the unfamiliar as an invitation to explore,” Jeep CEO Branden Cote said. He called the movie a “Marvel-size canvas.”

Disney sounded just as happy. “The Jeep lineup is a natural fit for this creative vision,” said Holly Frank, Disney’s vice president of global marketing partnerships and promotions. Lylle Breier, Disney’s executive vice president of partnerships, promotions and events, called the year with Jeep “an incredible creative journey.”

Where will the Jeep Doomsday ad air?

Pretty much everywhere you’ll be in December. Jeep said the campaign runs on TV, social media, Jeep’s website, email and at dealerships, plus live events. It started Nov. 6 and runs through December in the U.S. and select markets around the world.

Translation: expect to see The Thing in a Wrangler a lot between now and Christmas.

What were the earlier Jeep and Marvel ads?

This is chapter three. Jeep built the whole year around a shared birthday. The Jeep brand and Captain America were both born in 1941, the company said.

  • “Origin Story” (May): A 50-second video that launched the 2026 Jeep Wrangler America250 special edition. It has a Captain America shield cover on the spare tire, and buyers get a limited-edition Marvel comic cover, Laughing Place reported.

  • “The Original Superheroes” (summer): Part of Jeep’s Summer of Jeep push. Real U.S. military veterans who served as captains on land, at sea and in the air drove six Jeep models, including the Wrangler, Gladiator and Grand Cherokee.

  • “A Jeep 4×4 for Any Universe” (November): The Doomsday finale, which Jeep called the “big finish.”

When does Avengers: Doomsday come out?

Friday, Dec. 18, in theaters. Anthony and Joe Russo direct, and Robert Downey Jr. plays Doctor Doom. Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Alan Cumming are among the stars listed in Jeep’s release.

Tickets are already on sale. If you’re planning a family trip to the theater, budget time. The Hollywood Reporter put the runtime at about 2 hours, 45 minutes in July, though that could still shift.

The ad’s end card also says the movie is not yet rated. Every Avengers movie so far has been rated PG-13.
