Disneyland Resort does Christmas right. Unlike Walt Disney World (with the exception of the Jingle Cruise), Disneyland some holiday overlays on some of its attractions such as Haunted Mansion Holiday themed to the Nightmare Before Christmas and “It’s a Small World” with its holiday overlay.
“It’s a Small World” experienced a ride closing flood recently making it inaccessible to guests and cast members were working around the clock to get it up and running for the holidays. Disney Parks wasn’t sure if the ride would be operational for the holidays and could remain closed until 2022.
We originally reported on it here on November 19th.
However, much to the joy of park goers, “It’s a Small World” reopened with its holiday overlay on December 6th. The beautiful overlay allows guests to set sail on an adorable holiday voyage complete with holiday decorations from all over the world.
