Iron Chef Morimoto is Coming to Town (Disney Springs) for the Holidays

Would you enjoy upscale dining with Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto at Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs? Now is your chance since he is coming to town this December.

Iron Chef Morimoto will be at his restaurant at Disney Springs on December 1-3.  There will be multiple opportunities to meet and dine with him during that time. However, you will need to act quickly.

On December 1 and 2, he will be appearing to celebrate 100 years of House of Suntory fine whiskys being held at Morimoto Asia. Only 20 guests will be allowed to participate each evening with Iron Chef Morimoto. Each evening, the event happens from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.  During the event, guests will sample several exceptional whiskys and three delicious small bites menu items.

How much will the ability to meet this famous chef for this event and taste these delicious food and beverages cost? The good news is that it costs less than a previous event with him. The bad news involves that it still costs $335. Of course, only guests aged 21 or over can participate.

The specific beverages already announced for each evening are:

FRIDAY

• Yamazaki 25 year
• Yamazaki 18 year Mizunara 100th Anniversary
• Yamazaki 12 year 100th Anniversary bottle

SATURDAY

• Hibiki 30 year
• Hakushu 18 year Peated Malt 100th Anniversary
• Hakushu 12 year 100th Anniversary bottle

Iron Chef Morimoto “Momokase”

Later in the evening, on December 1 and 2, Chef Morimoto will host his highly exclusive “Momokase.” Starting at 7:00 p.m., ten guests each evening can purchase an intimate seven-course meal personally prepared by the talented chef himself. These courses will be paired with rare bottles from House of Suntory’s signature whisky collection, including the option to upgrade to a ¼-ounce pour from one of only 200 bottles of Yamazaki 55 worldwide.

This unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity starts at $2,000 per person plus tax and gratuity. Guests must be 21 or older.

12 Beers of Christmas Hosted by Iron Chef Morimoto

For another option, guests can purchase tickets to the 12 Beers of Christmas. This event hosted by Iron Chef Morimoto occurs on Sunday, December 3. Guests will sample 12 beers paired with 12 delicious bites. Non-alcoholic beverage options for kids make this a family-friendly event. Guests can choose from two different time slots for general admission or a booth with bottled water and a dedicated server. Tickets start at $95 for adults and $55 for children, plus tax and gratuity.

For fans of this chef, the first weekend of December offers many holiday presents. So, you better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. I’m telling you why… Iron Chef Morimoto is coming to town.
