Internet Reacts To Disney Busting Out Jamie Lee Curtis Freakier Friday Ad

Disney has managed to get their failing “Freakier Friday” movie some much needed internet attention this week after dropping an ad with Jamie Lee Curtis. The intention might have been pure, but the internet is not.

Now the internet is buzzing talking about Miss Curtis’s assets.

The ad was simply Jamie Lee Curtis talking about how excited she is to be working on “Freakier Friday” and how much joy and nostalgia the final product could bring.

The clip was apparently filmed at a recent screening of the film, where Curtis surprised the crowd.

It’s unclear why Disney thought this spot was a good idea, but they really do need all the publicity they can get to drive up the box office.

This set off the internet, and the comments were as expected.

Mostly, they were either joking about shock or mentioning her scenes in “Trading Places” or “True Lies.”

Today I discovered that the younger people just learned about Jamie Lee Curtis, SOMEHOW.

My brothers in Christ, she has ALWAYS been f*@kin’ up dudes in the head. For DECADES.

See True Lies… and if you really want the score, go watch Trading Places.

You’re welcome.”- Oliver Campbell

All these people thirsting over Jamie Lee Curtis all of a sudden, I have to ask them, have they never watched True Lies?” – When Batmen Fly

Haha, if this is what hunting looks like, then please sign me up to be the prey!” – Vinand

It’s funny because the subtitles do pop up like this.

Disney’s “Freakier Friday” is tanking at the box office, and they evidently decided that the best way to attract attention to the film was for Jamie Lee Curtis to whip out her granny m*lkers.” -Jack

No matter what the reason, I will give Curtis credit for still being able to get a rise out of the internet.

Go her!
