The now-closed Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit Coaster was on fire today at Universal Studios Florida.
Rip Ride Rockit is closed for demolition on August 18, 2025. This large tower structure is all that remains, but somehow it caught on fire as flames could be seen.
According to WESH 2, firefighters confirmed a “working a small active fire on the tracks of a closed coaster.”

No word on injuries yet, but the attraction is closed and is being demolished.
