Guests Evacuated Off Living with the Land as Boat Starts Sinking

Guests visiting EPCOT got a bit of a surprise yesterday as a boat in the Living with the Land attraction reportedly started to sink.

A video was posted on TikTok by @wallandwfhatdisney showing the boat in front of them being evacuated.

The boat is clearly leaning to one side and the original poster said that it did sink under the water.

They also said it happened quickly,

Once it started going down it happened fast and one guy just got up and got off and then the rest of them followed. I asked if they wanted to get in our boat because it was pitch black but I think they were nervous because our boat was holding up theirs and could have maybe also gone under.

@wallandwfhatdisney Current situation. Boat in front of me started to sink and all occupants had to evacuate. We ended up chilling in our boat until cast members escorted us off and out the back. And people say living with the land is boring!! 😆 #epcot #livingwiththeland #wdw #fyp #sinkingship ♬ original sound – days_gone_disney

It really isn’t that big of a deal, but it’s still interesting to see.

I will admit it’s very amusing to hear the thunder and then the audio saying “…the often surprising nature of living with the land.”

The comments are the best part. Here are some of the other ones.

“Either you live with the land, or you drown with the land. No other option.” – Mike

“How does it feel to live my dream of sinking on living with the land?” – Andrew

Theme music turns to My Heart Will Go On” – Phil.   Well Disney does own “Titanic” now.

Oh you got upgraded to a tour.” – Heather

It seems everyone was fine, just surprised.

What do you think? Comment and let us know!
