Well it’s happened again. No, not the weekly breakdown of Splash Mountain, but another a log vehicle filled up with water and required guests to be “evacuated” out of the vehicle. This is not the first time this has happened and they don’t “sink” very far, but no one wants to be sitting waist deep in water.
The latest evacuation was posted on Tik Tok yesterday by @danglin90:

The ride was stopped so that guests could be taken out of the damaged ride vehicle.
Hopefully they got to ride it the whole way through and they got some dry clothes.
Sure you get wet on that ride, but not that wet. I would not want to be walking around all day that soaked. The chaffing alone would be miserable.
I think that we are winding down on Splash Mountain ahead of the announced redo to Princess and the Frog. The ride vehicles are ready to retire.
