Disney, can we please just admit that CommuniCore Hall was a bad idea meant to save money?
Today, the Gooftastic Summer overlay debuted at EPCOT, called “GoofyCore” and while it’s cute, it’s not quite on the same level as the original CommuniCore and feels somewhat low-budget.
What is there?
The new installation has several different offerings that include a DJ station with a couple of TVs showing Goofy clips and various game titles.
A board game-looking carpet (kind of like Chutes and Ladders).
Goofy stretching and limbo.
A parachute activity straight out of gym class.
“Goofy Says” like “Simon Says”.
If you fill up the “Goofy Game Machine” a dance party starts.
It’s a good thing Disney did this or people might not think they are trying very hard to compete with Epic Universe.

This new “attraction” will run from May 27 – September 1, 2025.
