Gatorland’s Gators, Ghosts & Goblins Halloween Event Starts This Weekend

Florida may have Halloween events at parks like Universal Studios and the Magic Kingdom, but none feature gators and other nightmares we have to deal with in the swamp. Only Gatorland does!

This weekend, Orlando’s famous Gatorland is kicking off this year’s Halloween event: Gators, Ghosts & Goblins. The family-friendly foray is slated for select dates starting on the 14th between 10 AM and 5 PM.

2023’s experience will resurrect Swamp Ghost’s Monster Museum, which hosts “an all new exhibit.” Gatorland’s Cryptid Express promises guests encounters with mythic cryptids like the Moth Man, Chupacabra, Florida Skunk Ape, and other creatures.

There will also be a Children’s Halloween Costume Parade (weekends only) where each young one will get a treat bag. Families will also get to check out various “vendors, games, candy giveaways, and more!” This also includes The Creepy Creature Carnival, packed with famous monsters who “moonlight as midway attractions!

If you can’t make it to Gatorland, you can still catch Gators, Ghosts & Goblin on the 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th. Unfortunately, the event won’t happen on Halloween. However, Florida residents can get single-day tickets for the park proper through October 31st.

Unlike Halloween Horror Nights or Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Gators, Gatorland’s Ghosts & Goblin fun is included with your regular admission ticket! That’s not a bad deal since Floridians can get half-off tickets that range in price from $22.99 for kids and $32.99 for adults.

If you’re in the mood for something more down-to-earth and old-school when it comes to Halloween celebrations, I really do recommend Gatorland. It will save you a lot of money, and patronizing the park helps conservation efforts in Florida.
