ESPN+ Tile To Be Added To Disney+ Next Month

This morning, during the Walt Disney Company Q4/fiscal year-end investor call, it was announced that ESPN+ would be getting its own tile on Disney+ on December 4, 2024.

ESPN+ Tile

By adding the tile to the Disney+ site, subscribers who have all three services, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+, can have access to the trio via the Disney+ landing page. If you are not a subscriber to the bundle, it will not cause you issues, but you can only access Hulu and ESPN+ if you are a bundle subscriber.

Disney did this with Hulu earlier this year and then changed the Disney+ color from blue to teal. I wonder if the color will change again with the induction of ESPN+ and its blue-black/gold logo.

ESPN+, the company’s “flagship” streaming service, will launch in Fall 2025. It will include all the live programming across ESPN networks.

Disney will add an ESPN tile to Disney+ on December 4, giving subscribers to its “trio” streaming bundle access to ESPN+ content when they are on Disney+.

There is still no word on the status of Venu Sports Disney is working on with Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD.) That steaming service is on hold as an injunction has been placed on it after Fubo filed suits over possible monopoly issues. That case is still moving through the court system.
