Epic Universe Won’t Offer Multi-Park or Single-Day Tickets?!

We’re all looking forward to Epic Universe. Orlando needs a new big-name theme park. However, Universal seems to be planning to thin out the crowds by forcing parkgoers to pay for multi-day ticket packages in 2025.

According to Attractions Magazine, Universal sent out details regarding ticketing information to third-party admission sellers. At least during the new park’s inauguration, the plan is to offer only a fraction of what you can get at Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and even Walt Disney World.

Ticket sellers were given the following training outline, which covered the type of admissions that would be available on day one of the park opening in 2025:

“Initially, Universal Epic Universe products will launch with multi-day tickets for 3 or more days with a 1-day limit to Universal Epic Universe for those planning vacations well in advance. Universal intends to expand product offerings to single and multi-day tickets, including Universal Epic Universe, in a phased approach based on availability.”

What?! I have to pay for three days, but only one of them can be at Epic Universe?! I can understand not allowing park-hopping right away, but that’s a lot of money to shell out and only get one crack at the newest attractions.

So, what about annual passholders? Universal made zero mention regarding this, oddly enough. If park hopping isn’t an option for Epic Universe at first, odds are it won’t be added to the annual passes until possibly 2026.

When will tickets finally go on sale? According to AM, the training documents left that question unanswered.

Trying to go to theme parks in Orlando has become a chore. You have to buy tickets in advance, use apps if you hope to get on a popular ride, and then deal with seemingly over-capacity crowds. I can understand Universal’s logic in a way.

What do you think of the limited access to Epic Universe? Let us know.
