It wouldn’t be tourist season without a fight on Disney World property! This time, we’ve got a guest at EPCOT swinging around a stanchion and trying to beat up a Cast Member!
WDW News Today posted a TikTok video from user Alexis Ringel showing the scuffled outside of Mission: Space. It did not end well.
A large shirtless male can be seen holding the metal stanchion (with chains still attached) like a club over one shoulder. Comments are made about Cast Members taking no action against the potentially dangerous individual at first.
@ah_littlebit_alexis Disney? Whats going on? #huh #disneyfight2024 ?
That all changes in the following clip when security (probably Orange County deputies) gets involved. By this time, the larger suspects no longer have his makeshift weapon. His slimmer friend is also getting belligerent with the uniformed officers.
Both suspects are dragged off in cuffs as their girlfriends or sisters look on in disbelief.
Some context is added in the second clip with a text bubble stating the following:
“We were told one of the guys punched an older lady cast member. The one holding the pole pulled it out from the ground and started swining it around and yelling and coming towards the crowd.“

Allegedly, one of the two “gentlemen” got to ride the lightning, but no video of that has surfaced. All we have to go on is an eyewitness account relayed by WDWNT.
What started the drama? Aparently, the guests were booted from the World Showcase after Cast Members stopped serving them in Italy’s pavilion. Classy.
This isn’t the first odd incident we’ve covered this year. Last month, two women were arrested after fighting over Disney World tickets and a golf cart. In April, a slapfight broke out in Dinsyeland’s Pixar Pier.
Is it so hard to be civil?
