Disney’s wish seemingly is to get a bit of a jump to their upcoming animated film “Wish” at the box office. It seems that they will release the animated film to theaters four days earlier for “early access screenings.”

750 U.S. theaters will show “Wish” at 4 PM (local time) on November 18th. The official release date is November 22, 2023.

“Your wish has been granted! Be among the first to experience Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Wish”, an all-new musical-comedy welcoming audiences to the magical kingdom of Rosas, where Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force—a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe—the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico—to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.”
Disney has not had much luck with theatrical releases lately. This is likely a way to try and push for more box office support ahead of the busy holiday weekend. But it’s a great way to see it a bit early.
