Disney’s Latest Christmas Movie “The Naughty Nine” Will Air on The Disney Channel and Disney+

Disney has a new holiday movie called “The Naughty Nine” that sees “naughty listers” attempt to pull a heist on Santa and the North Pole. The film debuted on the Disney Channel today, and it will be streaming on Disney+ tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day.

Here is the trailer:

This is the write-up:

Fifth grader Andy has been a bit of a troublemaker this year. When Christmas morning rolls around and Andy gets stiffed by Santa, he realizes he’s on the Naughty List. Feeling unfairly maligned, Andy pulls together a crack team of fellow naughty listers to pull off an elaborate heist in the North Pole to get the presents that Andy and the others feel they deserve. In the process of finding their gifts, the gang discovers that the spirit of Christmas is more about giving than taking, and decide to face Santa and do the right thing.

The team consists of Andy, his sister Laurel, his best friend and archery expert Dulce, North Pole conspiracy theorist Lewis, Ha-Yoon the “wheel woman”, Rose the animal person, charming Albert, and Jon Anthony the “master-of-disguise.” They get the help of cargo pilot Bruno to infiltrate the North Pole.

It looks like a cute movie with a fun premise. It kind of reminds me of the Nickelodeon movie “Swindle.”
