During Disney’s last earning call CEO, Bob Chapek, said that there would be an upcoming “Investor’s Day” stream coming in the near future. Thanks to LiveStorm, which is the webhost for the webinar, we now know that the event will take place on October 7, 2020 at 10AM EST.
From the last earnings call we know this webinar will have more information on the upcoming Star platform that Chapek talked about. It’s basically a version of Hulu outside the United States. That’s how they described it during the call.
It’s also likely that we will get more information on Disney+ and maybe learn what they are going to do with the Premier Access moving forward. Will “Soul” and “Black Widow” move to the paid service since they say “Mulan” outperformed “Tenet?” Maybe we will find out.
