Disney’s Grand Floridian Gingerbread House Is Open And Celebrating 25 Years

2024 marks the 25th year of the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Walt Disney World! The tradition started in 1999 and the year is seen repeated in the design as the house number and an “established in 1999” sign on the building.

This holiday centerpiece is made from 800 pounds of flour, 600 pounds of powdered sugar, over 1,000 pounds of honey, 700 pounds of chocolate and ten thousand pieces of gingerbread.

Santa is 88 pounds of white chocolate!
