Two of Disney’s Animal Kingdom attractions will be closing for refurbishment in the near future, with one lasting four months. Kali River Rapids and Expedition Everest will both face some closures for refurbishment.
Kali River Rapids

Kali River Rapids had just seen a closure in March, but it’s going back down for a refurbishment from November 1st – November 19th.
We aren’t sure if it’s a cosmetic update/ refresh or if it’s something mechanical. Since it’s only closed for a short period of time I don’t think it’s anything too big.
Expedition Everest

Expedition Everest will close on January 4th and will remain closed until April for what is being reported as something to do with the ride system. The Yeti is not what is set to be fixed and it it were it would likely take more than three months to accomplish.
What a 50th Anniversary treat that would be!
Keep this in mind if you are visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World during these times.
