Recently the actor playing Deadpool at Disneyland’s “Storytime With Deadpool” show made a joke about the Disney+ Terms of Service agreement. Deadpool is going to Deadpool. While this joke is very in character for the Marvel character, it might not be in good taste for the audience at Disneyland.
A video is circulating that shows Disneyland’s Deadpool and Wolverine performing “Cinderpool” during a “Storytime with Deadpool” show. During the show, Deadpool jokes that Cinderpool was late for a big battle “because he had to read every single page in the terms and conditions when he signed up for Disney+.”

@gothgirl_doesdisney I dont think the Disney execs are gonna like that joke, Deadpool 🥴 . . . #fy #fypage #foryoupage #foryou #disney #disneyland #deadpool #disneyplus #raglanroad ♬ original sound – Kaitie
Wolverine responds with, “I don’t get it.”
Deadpool answered by saying, “They do.”
It’s probably not a joke that they should be making at Disneyland, given the public backlash Disney faced over their lawyers’ attempt to force a wrongful death suit to arbitration using the Disney+ Terms of Service.
The backlash was so severe that Disney walked back their attempt to force arbitration. However, Chairman of Disney Experiences Josh D’Amaro still made sure to add that they were choosing to drop it but implied they had the right to force arbitration.
“We believe this situation warrants a sensitive approach to expedite a resolution for the family who have experienced such a painful loss. As such, we’ve decided to waive our right to arbitration and have the matter proceed in court.”
Even in the carefully crafted response Disney chose to double down that agreeing to their questionable terms of service still gave them the right to force arbitration in any situation but they “waived it.” This is so they can use it again against others.
Given the charged nature of the situation it probably isn’t a joke that should have been made, even if it is completely in character for Deadpool. Not at the theme park.
The joke will likely get scrapped. I just hope the person who added the joke doesn’t get fired.
