A family trip to Disneyland turned violent after a fight broke out over reported line-cutting at the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction. The altercation led to one man receiving stitches.
The incident happened at Disneyland Park in Anaheim. According to a report aired by KTLA, the confrontation began when a father, visiting from Washington state, allegedly confronted another group who appeared to be cutting into the queue. What started as a verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical attack.
According to Visible_General_8283 on Reddit, this is what happened,
“Yesterday I was in line at Indiana Jones around 12:45pm and a man wearing light green sweatpants starting beating an older man with a ponytail senselessly for about a minute while in line. The older man did not fight back but cowered down while his 20-something year old daughter screamed and cried ‘stop hitting my dad’. It was incredibly traumatizing and the dude who assaulted the man ran off. The older man was covered in blood on his face and Disney staff closed the line and sent staff to scrub blood off the floor in multiple spots. I thought the guy was going to die. I hope he is ok and the other man was punished. Watching the horrific violence definitely ruined the day!! Anyone else have an update?”
His daughter did chime in on the post and reported that her dad was Okay but needed stitches.

“Hey guys just letting you know this is me and my dad! He got stitches and is perfectly okay. Also im 17, not 20 something”
Another post on Reddit from ImaginaryBag1452 also posted about the incident, saying,
“Did anybody else witness the fight in the IndianaJones line around 2 pm today? It was crazy – I’ve never seen anything like that at Disney. Scared the kids 🙁 Very curious what the heck led to it because it looked like just one guy wailing on another guy who wasn’t fighting back much.
Edit: was reading the other post and want to clear up misconceptions: it lasted about 30 seconds and there were several people intervening to stop the guy. He managed to get some hits in even with people blocking. Then he stepped back a bit so others did too. That’s when he jumped in for one last sucker punch, which drew blood, and then he ran off with his family following. Several people were able to point him out to security. I don’t know for certain if he was caught but I would assume so based on the crowd and how close security was already.”
The victim’s wife posted an update on that post saying,

“Hey guys…soooo that was my husband was getting hit. He refused to hit back (which took a lot of discipline) because he didn’t want the rest of the family get kicked or us blacklisted. My teen got videos of the guy hitting my hubby. The security and CM took care of my kids while I left with my hubby as he got checked out and got a wicked scar with serious dad lore.”
She also indicated that the person was caught, and they would be pressing charges. However, KTLA indicates that the perpetrator is still at large, but police believe they know who he is.
He did the right thing. He didn’t hit back because, as unfair as it sounds, if you hit back, you get arrested and trespassed too.
If someone is jumping line it is best to flag down a Cast Member. So many fights start because people are cutting line.
Thankfully, the victim was able to keep going on his trip, but I’m sure he had a terrible headache.
