We have some sad news today. It seems that a Club 33 manager at Disneyland fell from a moving golf cart and sustained a fatal head injury in the backstage areas of the property.
60-year-old Bonnye Mavis Lear passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 after being taken to the hospital on Wednesday, June 5.
Lear was a passenger in the vehicle, and the police say it was an accident with no drugs or alcohol use suspected by the driver or Lear.
Ms Lear was an employee of Disneyland for 24 years and “supported membership services at Club 33.” Club 33 is the exclusive and expensive club at the Disney parks.
Disneyland President Ken Potrock released as statement saying,
“We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye, and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her. At this time, we are focused on supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and making sure they have the resources they need.”
It’s such a sad event.
