Disney just doesn’t know when to quit, especially when it comes to all the ill-conceived “live-action” adaptations of animated films. This time they are going to go for the ‘Aristocats.’
This report comes from Variety, where they say Disney is in early development on this less than purrfect idea.
Will Gluck the director of ‘Peter Rabbit’ and Keith Bunin who wrote “Onward” will be writing the script for the live-action adaptation no one asked for. Gluck will also be producing it under his Olive Bridge Entertainment company.
Twitter is already responding to the news:
No one wants this, yet they persist

Honestly, people would much rather have new things than yet another “live-action” remake or reboot, but it’s probably a lot cheaper than being creative. Which “pillar” is this under Bob?
