Disney and Starbucks’ Mint to Be holiday collection hit Disney Store on Nov. 6, where the red-handled steel tumbler is $54.99. It’s $49.99 at Disneyland and $44.99 at Disney World.
Disney and Starbucks’ Mint to Be holiday collection went on sale at Disney Store online Friday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. ET, as WDW News Today first reported in October. Laughing Place called it “available now” three minutes later.
Price depends on where you shop. The red-handled stainless steel tumbler is $54.99 online. Laughing Place and MickeyBlog reported it at $44.99 at Walt Disney World, and WDWNT priced it at $49.99 at Disneyland. That’s a $10 spread for the same peppermint art.
When we checked at about 11:20 a.m. ET, every Mint to Be listing we opened showed out of stock, with a “Notify Me When Available” button. Disney limits each item to two per guest.
We reported Oct. 28 that the collection was coming to Disney Store on Nov. 6. It beat that date to the parks, showing up at Disneyland and Disney World in late October.
Here’s a look at the Disney Starbucks Mint to Be collection:
What’s in the Disney Starbucks Mint to Be collection?
Mint green and peppermint pink, with a ribbon that reads “Mint to be at the Merriest Place on Earth.” The art mixes the Starbucks siren, red holiday cups, Christmas trees, a castle and Mickey peppermints. Here’s what Disney Store listed:
-
Walt Disney World or Disneyland Holiday 24 oz. Tumbler with Straw: $39.99, with a “D” straw topper
-
Mickey Mouse Icon “Mint to be” 24 oz. stainless steel travel tumbler: $54.99, red handle and candy cane straw
-
Glittery pink “Mint to Be” 24 oz. tumbler: $34.99
-
Holiday mug, Walt Disney World or Disneyland: $27.99, 15 ounces
-
Fabric cup sleeve, Walt Disney World or Disneyland: $16.99
-
Surprise silicone straw topper, Walt Disney World or Disneyland: $16.99
-
Canvas tote with reusable hot cup lid stopper: $29.99
How much does the Mint to Be collection cost at Disney World and Disneyland?
Most prices match across the parks and Disney Store. A few don’t:
-
Red-handled steel tumbler: $44.99 at Disney World, $49.99 at Disneyland, $54.99 online
-
Mint tumbler with straw topper: $34.99 in both parks, $39.99 for the 24 oz. holiday tumbler online
-
Mug: $27.99 at Disney World and online, $24.99 at Disneyland, per WDWNT
The tote ($29.99), cup sleeves ($16.99), mystery toppers ($16.99) and journal ($24.99) cost the same in both parks. The journal didn’t turn up in Disney Store’s holiday search.
Where can you buy the Starbucks Mint to Be collection in the parks?
At Disneyland, WDWNT found it at the Emporium and Disney Showcase on Main Street, U.S.A. The Main Street Mouse added World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District.
At Disney World, Laughing Place reported it at the resort’s Starbucks locations, and MickeyBlog spotted it at Animal Kingdom’s Riverside Depot. The Main Street Mouse said “select merchandise locations,” so check the shop near you before buying online.
Is the pink Mint to Be tumbler a Disney Store exclusive?
WDWNT said in October that a sparkly pink tumbler would be a Disney Store exclusive. Disney Store lists a glittery pink, silver and green “Mint to Be” tumbler for $34.99. Its page doesn’t carry an exclusive tag, and it didn’t show up in park reports.
What are the Mint to Be surprise straw toppers?
A blind box with one of five silicone toppers, WDWNT reported from Disneyland. Each has a 20% chance, with no rare “chaser” design:
-
A candy cane-striped “D” with a mint border
-
The same “D” with a black border
-
A pink peppermint Mickey head
-
A red Starbucks cup with a Mickey wreath
-
A pink Starbucks cup with a Mickey wreath
What Starbucks holiday drinks are at Disney World?
The parks’ Starbucks shops added the holiday menu Thursday, Nov. 5, BlogMickey reported. Grande prices include the Peppermint Mocha ($6.75), Iced Tiramisu Velvet Latte ($6.75) and Snowy Apple Drink ($6.95).
You’ll find them at Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom, Connections Cafe in EPCOT, The Trolley Car Cafe in Hollywood Studios and Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom. A Peppermint Mocha in a Mint to Be cup is basically a theme.
