Disney Springs Paddlefish Restaurant Burglarized By Scuba Diver

The “wet bandit” is now a reality. According to reports, a person in scuba gear burglarized the Disney Springs Paddlefish Restaurant just after midnight on September 15, 2025.

Police believe that the individual put on scuba gear and swam through the water to the restaurant, where they stashed their gear and walked into the manager’s office, where employees were counting money before depositing it in the safe.

During the heist, the burglar forced two employees into a corner, possibly tied them up, and told them to close their eyes, which they did. The employees reportedly saw no weapons.

The robbery reportedly took only a couple of minutes to complete, and the perpetrator seemed to put the scuba gear back on and left the same way they had entered. Ultimately, the thief stole $10,000 – $20,000.
