Florida may not have the best track record when it comes to paying educators, but Disney is making up for that! Educators on a break between school years can get special discounts on select Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels!
Six of the hotels located around the massive Disney shopping district are offering special rates for teachers, along with a few extra perks! All you need is a valid Walt Disney World theme park ticket!
The hotels below are participating in this special pricing:
- Double Tree Suites
- Drury Plaza Hotel
- Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace (my personal favorite)
- Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista
- Holiday Inn Orlando
- Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista
It’s hard to beat those prices, especially for the more prominent Hilton. These discounted rates are only good for books made through August 15, 2024. The cutoff for the planned stay is September 2, 2024.
As with any Disney discount, there are specific rules apply:
“The Teacher Appreciation discount rates apply to Preschool, Daycare, Kindergarten – College teachers and support staff in the U.S. and Canada. The special rates are available for bookings May 3, 2024 through August 15, 2024 for hotel stays May 27 – September 2, 2024, based on availability. Some blackout dates may apply, and availability may be limited. The rates do not include the Resort Services Fee or daily parking fee (if applicable), taxes or gratuities. The offer is not valid with any other special offers, promotions, existing reservations, or for groups. All teachers and school support staff must show proof of employment upon check-in.“
